Onse The Manila-based 6-piece hard-alternative band, Onse, is currently on their second year as a brotherhood of free-thinking indiviuals brought together by their passion for music and the Arts. Often questioned as to the meaning of the band's name, "Onse", the Spanish word for "eleven" is primarily inspired by a series of peculiar events shared by the members of the band in some rather "timely" circumstances during which the members were experiencing trials and hardships in their personal lives. The band aims to penetrate or rather level down the delusional "wall" of separation between people and hopefully reinstate a sense of connectivity within our ever expanding stream of individual consciousness, all of this through this awesome thing called music. Onse's music is mostly written in our native language, Tagalog, which obviously targets fellow Filipino citizens. Hopefully, this makes Onse's music more accessible to the local listeners of Filipino music and conveniently convey the messages of their songs into the minds and hearts of the people.
