Onshu?

— What does your pseudonym Onshu mean?
- When I started making music, I needed a nice-sounding and free nickname. I modeled two sounds completely randomly, as is usually the case. The first OH is from two letters of his name (MaxON) and SHU is from two letters of his surname. I wanted to give a Japanese character, as I respect the culture of the Japanese. She is very close to me. I have always been sure that there are no Japanese letters, nor the meaning of this nickname. But when I turned to native speakers with a request to translate the sounds OH and SHU and come up with something with them, he replied that there was no need to invent anything, since ON 音 means “sound” and SHU 主 is “a master who leads ". It turns out, in general - "Master of Sound". This is one of the accidents that defy awareness throughout the entire life option, but I accepted this one and will never refuse it.
Tell me how you got started in music?
- Ever since school, from the fourth grade, I began to buy all new shipments of foreign CDs in stores and record the best tracks with them on cassettes. Good material has always been scarce. I searched for songs on the radio, borrowed cassettes and CDs from friends. My old boombox was a whole studio for me to record pirated tape accumulation. A little later, I got a computer, a microphone, ejay and frutiloops. I played cassettes at school discos and the teacher called me "disc jockey".
I released a whole series of "signature" collections, with my own cool covers, which were associated with creativity. He would come to school and hand out new weekend issues to all his imaginary fans.
Basically the same thing I'm doing now...
