He'll Have To Go (New Ver.) (O'Neill Fernandes) by O'Neill Fernandes published on 2022-01-25T07:40:06Z ‘The Next Time’ is my 30th Album which is a collection of love ballads that takes you on a nostalgic journey of music through the generations and genres. When I embarked on this journey, I never ever imagined I would be celebrating producing and recording my 30th Album...what a blast this has been... I want to thank all my listeners around the world from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through this journey...it has made my life so much more complete... Music is such a powerful medium and a song can trigger memory flashbacks to the precise moment in time when a particular song is heard or revisited…Especially so for this album which is a hit parade of wonderful memories for me, and I wish the same for You… The title track ‘The Next Time’ is one of three hit singles from the movie Summer Holiday. The other two are ‘Bachelor Boy’ also on this Album and Summer Holiday which is on the ‘My Way’ Album. The Next Time is by Cliff Richard and was released in 1962. I have also made a video of the song and the link details are detailed below...I have re-recoded ‘Lucky Lips’ (1963) which was released on the ‘My Way’ Album back in July 2018. I have re-recorded two songs from Jim Reeves in ‘He’ll Have to Go’ (1959) and ‘Roses Are Red My Love (1963). So, hope you enjoy these ones again... Che Sara (what will be) is a song by Jose Feliciano which was released in 1971 and reached number one in many countries. There are other hits like No Doubt’s ‘Don’t Speak’ released in 1996 from their third studio album ‘Tragic Kingdom’. ‘Every time You Go Away" is a song written and composed by Daryl Hall. It was first recorded in 1980 by the American duo Hall & Oates, but was not released as a single. A cover version of the song by Paul Young became an international hit in 1985, reaching No. 1 in the US and No. 4 in the UK. Katie Melua is a Georgian-British singer and songwriter who had several successful hits and made her musical debut in 2003. One of her hits My Aphrodisiac is You is on my ‘Greatest Love of All’ Album, ‘The Closest Thing to Crazy’ which is on ‘An Eternal Flame’ album and ‘Just Like Heaven’ which was released in 2003 and is on this album...I hope you enjoy my cover version of Katie’s music. Other songs to take you back through the generations are Lulu’s ‘Boom Bang A Bang’ (1969), ‘Bus Stop’ by the Hollies (1966), ‘Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat’ by Herman’s Hermits (1965), Rod Stewart’s ‘Have I Told You Lately’ (1991), Engelbert’s ‘I Wanna Rock You in My wildest Dreams’ (1989) and ‘Love Will Keep Us Together’ by Capitan and Tennille (1975). I have recorded a few of Robert Palmer’s songs which are on other albums and ‘I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight is a 1967 song by Bob Dylan and covered by Robert Palmer with UB40 in 1990. I have also made a video of the song and details of the link are detailed below... Other songs on this album include Elton John’s ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues’ (1983), ‘All Out of Love’ is a song by British/Australian soft rock duo Air Supply, released as a single in 1980 from their fifth studio album ‘Lost in Love’. ‘Stars’ by Simply Red (1991). To finish of the Album a very special song by James Taylor of ‘You’ve Got a Friend’ (1971), which is one of my all-time favourites... This Album covers hits from 1959 to 2003, so I hope it brings back memories or a new listening experience and you enjoy this collection of love songs especially around Valentine’s Day... Enjoy!!!
