papertigersound Dan Gelder & Kerstin Wilson Norfolk, UK & Nova Scotia, CA Papertiger Sound is a transatlantic band created in 2006 by Dan Gelder and Kerstin Wilson Biography Papertiger Sound was formed in late 2006 when Dan Gelder and Kerstin Wilson met in Leeds, England. Presently, Dan lives in Norfolk, England, while Kerstin resides in Nova Scotia, Canada. Since Kerstin's return to Canada in 2007, and while they've been separated by the Atlantic Ocean, Papertiger Sound has self-produced five EPs and two albums. Dan and Kerstin have managed this feat by swapping files online and talking over Skype. Papertiger Sound's work has been likened to the Shoegaze / Dream Pop and Electronica movements and they've been compared to bands such as New Order, The Postal Service, and Yo La Tengo. The band has released through three labels: Egress ("This Is How It Ends" -- 2008); Hungry Audio ("The Last Days Are Taking Forever" -- 2009); and Shifty Disco ("Green" single from "This Is How It Ends" -- 2008). Additionally, the band's own label -- Auteur Recordings -- has released "Tiny Robot Love" (EP, 2009), "Atlantic Wires" (Album, 2010), "Everything Matters" (EP, 2010), and "Call Home" (Mini-album, 2012). papertigersound’s tracks Getting Lost, Being Found by papertigersound published on 2013-12-24T23:46:20Z Getting Lost, Being Found by papertigersound published on 2013-12-24T23:46:17Z The papertiger sound forever by papertigersound published on 2013-01-02T17:24:38Z Wrap Yourself In Light by papertigersound published on 2012-12-21T20:30:20Z Over The Fields by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z Postcard From Home by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z Winterlove by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z Something Good by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z Safe Inside by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z Fin by papertigersound published on 2012-01-06T00:29:02Z
