Songs Without Words (2013/rev 2018) by Paul Max Edlin published on 2019-03-02T18:59:19Z 2013 (rev 2018) for solo piano Four short pieces that are steeped in lyricism. Each has an inspiration, but all are loose in this regard and bear no symbolism. The first song is inspired by Poulenc, the second and fourth by a mix of folk song and Ligeti and the third by Marcello. This version uses sampled sounds and is created for reference and study purposes.
