Randy In California by ProgRockDan Instrumentals published on 2019-04-18T13:06:45Z The name for this piece is a quadruple entendre. It can stand for Randy California the fine guitarist of the band Spirit. It can stand for a person named Randy in California. It can stand for the famous donut shop in California. Finally, it can stand for a person who is horny in California. Here are links to two of those meanings: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy%27s_Donuts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_California I wrote this on bass guitar. That is, the bass line came to me in the morning when I was waking up. I started recording it using my precision bass. I play my Squire strat with the Lindly Fralin split blade pickups on rhythm and lead guitar. This is one of my Surf Rock songs. You can find others on trhis playlist. https://soundcloud.com/progrockdan-instrumentals/sets/surf-rock I mixed this piece in Cubase and I used iZotope Ozone to master it. I do not spend much effort promoting my instrumentals so this song will probably have few plays, likes... That is OK with me. If you found it I thank you for listening. https://www.fralinpickups.com/product-category/guitar-pickups/strat-pickups/ Genre Surf Rock Comment by Lammbone Yes... those were the days... cool jam dude. 2019-09-06T16:00:01Z Comment by Gina Wood Cal Surf style Very cool guitar !! 2019-06-21T14:03:45Z Comment by Ken Minty lovely clean and accurate guitar playing ... nice!! 2019-05-13T07:23:49Z Comment by Tot.
