NoN Project - El Pueblo Unido (Carla Valenti Remix) by RaRaRa Records published on 2021-05-21T09:13:32Z “El Pueblo Unido” is a NoN Project tribute to the song by Chilean composer Sergio Ortega Alvarado (text by the Quilapayún band) inspired, for the vocal line, by the version of the song created by the band 99Posse. This song is dedicated to those hundreds and thousands of people who, through their struggles, manifest the search for a different world and new fields of possibilities for "the lives to come." From there begins the search of NoN Project for the sounds of the song, as well as the art of its cover, to create a sound and imaginary landscape, in which the temporal references are lost and an identity is maintained outside the time of the effects of the constant police control, of the media that allow connecting the struggles over the time. From the ones that are currently taking place in the Chilean social process, which has seen its climax in the Revolt of 2019 and 2020, with the struggles of the government era de Allende, to the the struggles of the 90s of the anti-globalization movement and the indigenous populations. This single is accompanied by an incredible remix created by the producer and DJ, Carla Valenti. Carla Valenti presents this remix with her mestizo house style with sounds that mix melodies from altiplano folklore, Afro-Latin rhythms, dub and percussion focused on the club.
