Baroque Classical Harpsichord | 1700's | Bach Invention 4 in D Minor [BWV 775] by Ross Hoyt Music published on 2016-03-14T02:24:37Z In addition to conveying a strong performance of these important JS Bach keyboard inventions, I tried to achieve a life-like acoustic environment and clear but colorful vintage recording sound, to harken to the classical recording techniques of the 1960's and 70's. These performances were recorded with the Nord Stage EX French Harpsichords, and for room ambiance I used the Altiverb IR Reverb of Austria's Schloss Esterhazy Castle Chapel. This was the location that Haydn lived, composed and performed many of his works in the early 1700s, so it was no surprise that the room suited well the keyboard music of Bach, his contemporary. Genre Classical Comment by Brian Thomas insanely good work 2016-05-26T21:20:54Z
