Pine by Richard Hellgren published on 2022-11-27T19:58:08Z The piece "Pine" is an attempt to convey the peaceful and contemplative atmosphere I experience when I walk in the woods. It's not so much about having a defined melody or complex harmony, but more about creating a mood and an atmosphere. As with my previous recordings, I've used my Malmsjö piano from 1911 to bring this piece to life. However, this time, I've added some felt effects to create a slightly altered sound that fits the overall mood of the composition. In this piece, I've used felt to soften some of the sharpness of the notes, creating a more subtle and delicate sound that blends well with the theme of the piece. Thank you for listening. Genre Classical Comment by Brad Rau Music Melodic masterpiece!! 2023-08-18T17:07:18Z Comment by Emma Caiman Really interesting tones... the use of felt is intriguing.. softening but with an air of mystery and melancholy.. really nice! 2023-05-20T04:19:17Z Comment by gaspar monterde really beautiful 2023-03-26T09:04:54Z Comment by VintageKlavier1980s Unbelievable! I'm no trained musician but somehow this feels simultaneously hopeful but also very tragic. In some places it sort of gives hope that we could stop the time but it also feels like there's this certain danger continuously present, maybe the danger that the "clock is ticking", time is running out. But in the end the song maybe gives us perspective and reason to enjoy every minute we’re privileged to spend on this earth. 2023-03-24T08:08:29Z Comment by Paul Vogt It didn't develop enough to say anything.... 2023-02-25T02:23:21Z Comment by Alfred de Raza I'm a fan of melancholy & minimalistic music, so your music speaks to me. 2022-12-16T06:35:15Z Comment by His Left Hand Beautiful!
