Dwelling Of Doom by Rico Blade published on 2021-05-08T13:06:04Z When I was a kid growing up in the 80's most of my friends and family were becoming fans of video games especially when Nintendo was released the Famicom in Japan in 1985 and later that same year they released it in the United States as Nintendo Entertainment System, commonly called "NES". While most of the people I knew were fans I didn't care for Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda or the other titles released. I remember my cousin Lloyd coming over to our house and I was in my bedroom while he was playing this game Castlevania. It was about a family of vampire slayers, the Belmonts and the main protagonist for this particular game was Simon Belmont for Castlevania 2: Belmont's Revenge. What caught my attention was the melodies was this game I couldn't concentrate drawing in my room because I had to see what he was playing because the music was so infectious. If it wasn't for the Castlevania franchise I would have never wanted to start playing video games and it was the music of this series that made me a fan. This is my homage to my favorite melody, Dwelling of Doom from Castlevania 2. Genre Classical
