Birch Tree Geofon 3:26:2020 1PM by rizzi published on 2020-03-27T09:00:54Z I have been trying to record the sound of tree sap flowing inside the treetrunks for a while. I made a special thin "needle" for my LOM Geofon, that I hope will make it possible to hear it... This recording was made on a sunny day in March in the forrest where I collect firewood. It was a fairly quiet day, not much wind nor traffic. I'm not sure exactly what you hear, there's a little wind rumble and you hear the branches hit each other, but I unsure about the low rumble thats constant... There's some hiss as I had to gain the preamp quite a lot, but I left everything as I recorded it apart from normalizing it in post. Now I'm waiting for my LOM geofon to arrive! 2021-03-23T19:15:07Z
