Bono talks to 2fm's Dave Fanning about Paris attacks by RTÉ2fm published on 2015-11-14T11:38:17Z Bono spoke to Dave Fanning live on 2fm this morning about the horrific attacks on Paris Genre u2 Comment by jeffreytopping thank god their show wasnt a target. It could easily have been. 2015-11-15T12:23:24Z Comment by Jason Lefler U2 is the best band to have in Paris. I was in Paris twenty years ago the day after a terrorist bomb killed eight people in a Paris subway. it was an understandably heavy scene when I returned to that beautiful city...however, I could tell that the people there were carrying on immediately. they were dignified, not replying to extremism with extremism, not responding to monsters by becoming monsters. The French have dealt with terrorism for decades and they are a brilliant example of how to keep calm and carry on. Dignity is the way. Kindness and love towards one another is the way. NOBODY gets to take your hope. So, how to carry on for the moment? Hug your loved ones a tighter and more often than before. Play the music you love louder than you did before. Treat women with greater respect than ever before. Don't let the bastards grind you down. One life with each other, sisters...brothers...we GET to carry each other. ONE LOVE 2015-11-14T21:20:47Z Comment by saskia "they hate woman, theey hate music, they hate all that we love 2015-11-14T17:02:13Z Comment by Maarten Goedseels I believe U2 is the perfect band to help Paris overcome this tragedy. 2015-11-14T15:12:47Z
