"Grind" with Roland TR-808, Juno 60 & 106, JX-3P, SH-101, MSQ-100 & 700, MX-1, SBX-1, and System 1 by Samuel Williamson published on 2016-06-13T16:51:43Z "Grind" with Roland TR-808, Juno 60, Juno 106, JX-3P, SH-101, MSQ-100, MSQ-700, SBX-1, MX-1, System 1, Boss DD3 Delay Pedal, Boss DD7 Delay Pedal, TC Electronics Hall of Fame Pedal, Boss RV-5 Reverb Pedal, and Zoom R24. I've been working on my new studio, trying to arrange everything just right. This is my first tune in my new set up. I laid down the drum beats with the Roland TR-808. Program it takes some patience, but the sounds are amazing. Next I used the Juno 60, patch 32 altered to my taste, for the main BASS track. I sequenced a variety of BASS riffs with the MSQ-700. I let the Juno 106 be the harp on patch 33 and sequenced it with the MSQ-100. I gave the lead to the System 1. I really love that lead sound. I used the MX-1 Combi Effects button for the sweet stop sound just before the second solo. I used the JX-3P, Sync Patch, for the second solo. I put the signal through the Boss RV-5 and DD7 for more effects. For the Outro I used the Roland SH-101 on the fattest BASS patch I've ever heard in real life. What an amazing machine.
