$hake$pear Shane Shriner Kingsport Rapper/producer $hake$pear embraces a distinct vocal mark and mysterious style from the start, he works on his own beats and then later on he developed a style of tense beats, haunting samples and melodies. His lyrics skewed towards darkness, his struggles, and dealing with hate on much of his work with word play and catchy hooks. In his first single “Hearts of Hope” he tells a deep story about his struggles with duchenne muscular dystrophy to let people catch a glimpse of how he felt during his childhood. From the beginning of his music journey he was heavily influenced by metal. He worked on being in metalcore bands and then retired the guitar in 2017 because lack of his physical abilities. $hake$pear was born Shane Shriner in Baltimore, Maryland in 1999. In 2003, He moved to Surgoinsville, Tennessee (423). His father taught him guitar at age 5. He grew up in a highly musical environment. Later on working on his own tracks and beats by his teenage years. He made his way to experiment more with hip-hop. He then took on the name $hake$pear and began rapping in early 2019. In spring 2020, he produced a self made album "Dream Chasing". He realized that’s what he wanted to commit to. In 2021, he then merged rap and his metal influences together. He started performing his own shows with local rappers.
