Steve Mead Steve Mead Oxford By luck my folks decided to buy me one of those Keyboards you could record tracks on and had all these cool sounds which you could edit and mix, can't remember what this keyboard was called but I have special memories of making something I'd created in that bedroom way back in the 90's. I also then happen to come by this great drum machine that allowed you to program loop tracks and I put them together and started recording on tape, I have the cassettes somewhere? I eventually sold all my bits for a better keyboard, guitar and a computer and started recording the professional way?!, learning to spend more than you could earn to get the professional sound (still doing it). After many failed attempts of sending my music to record labels I decided 1. STOP SINGING and 2. JUST ENJOY WHAT YOU DO. I recorded alot and then through it all away, did a bit of travelling, still need to get that Chinese bamboo flute and Sitar!, and over the years been in a few bands, got occupied with xbox for a bit and then got back to my own music. DId nothing with my songs for too long then got introduced to Sound Cloud and hear we are. I haven't got a certain style, just like to do whatever as long it has a bit of guitar, synth sounds and some traditional instruments. Happy Listening, your comments are appreciated!
