X is a multi-talented Visual/Film/ Recording entertainer. He is no stranger, to Hip-hip culture. Born on the South-side of Chicago, Illinois. X, was exposed to entertainment at the age of 3 years old. His father and mother both loved to dance on Soul Train, Paint art work, Draw, Write Poetry and Perform spoken word, and Design clothing. As a sub-teacher X's mother instilled in him Black nationalism and African History, X's father worked for General Motors as well as Marcal Paper Mills. After the murder of his father at the age. He moved to the San Fernando Valley a suburb of Los Angeles. Also called C.L. A.N throughout LA County California, started Bum Rush Productions, the most well-known DJ crew, in the San Fernando Valley, from 1986 until 1992. Members included renowned DJ, Nu-Mark, of Jurassic 5 fame and DJ Burt Blackarach aka Amani k. Smith a Grammy-winning engineer, DJ, composer and producer.
X performed in local school talent shows throughout the San Fernando Valley at the age of 7 years old, Mimicking Michael Jackson and Prince. At the age of 8 years old he was introduced to Michael Jackson's team, and offered a opportunity to perform at try-outs for the Michael Jackson's Pepsi commercial. X performed in the local San Fernando Valley area at talent shows as a B'boy break dancing, and M'Cee. Reuniting with his childhood friends, X formed a second edition crew of taggers, M'cee's, B'Boy's, D'jay's, Song writer's, and R & B artists at 16 years called, "Bum-Rush Productions" phase two, a Performance Arts Hip-Hop Production Team of youth. Using survivors insurance from his father's murder he organized Hip-Hop Performance Arts Talent shows in the San Fernando Valley area known as X-C.L.A.N Parties. X formed a mixed martial artist group called "Don't Give A Fuck (D.G.F)" at the age of 17 years old in a effort to prevent Gang Violence at his Hip-Hop events.
X, aka C.L.A. N lived in the Northwest at 15 years old for a year. This is when He found a love for the Portland metro area. During this year X devolved the concept for "Bum-Rush Productions" and the animation cartoon "Dreshawne and friends" a Boondocks style animation. Which would later go on to be on United Way's National Gang Peace Program directed by the World Famous O.G One. While living in the Northwest X organized local youth House parties with local friends exposing Portland to the Los Angeles Hip-Hop culture influence of revolutionary Afro-eccentric beliefs. X returned to San Fernando Valley where He developed His artistic expression through Painting, Music, Dance and Literature. X is a writer with several published national & International books available, " The Abyss of Jacob Lucas", "You can hear the children sing ", "The Seduction of Vessesa Raye ", "Fourteen Stitches", "Thieves Lay Awake", "Forsake Me Not in My Foolishness","The Test","My Brother's Keeper","The Creed", "The Watchers","The Assassination of The Black Community", " Made Man the Alpha Tree ", " Salvation's Struggles ", "The Cross, the Pimp and the Pastor", " A child's thoughts in many ways", and "The broken wings Of a dove in training". X is featured in books: "Great Poems of the Western World " Innocent Thoughts, USA." A prism of Thoughts " Innocents. " I remember those days ", "Illuminations" and Portland Community College's book "A Pointed Circle"
