In general, I tend to deal in "projects" when writing songs. This means that I find it difficult to write a song on its own merits unless it's contributing to a wider piece. Mostly these projects never come to fruition but it helps me get started.
Over the last few months I've had nothing really in mind until I came some images of four engraved plates made by Heinrich Kunrath in 1595 called "Amphitheatrum sapientiae aeternae" The subject matter, the fantastic titles and the fact the plates actually looked like LP's set me off on another project and song. It's good to be back
