Kind of Belle and Sebastian meets Pulp meets Lloyd Cole". They've recently been touring and earlier this year had a dream come true when they were joined onstage by Billy Bragg whilst performing at the "Under The Influence Billy Bragg tribute" as part of The Great Escape Festival. The Reverse have self released three previous EPS between 2006-8 which were well received and had some radio play on both BBC6Music and XFM. "Kind Words For Cruel Times" is their first album. They played as part of The End Festival in Crouch End on 15th Nov. "Under The Influence records" was set up by members of the band who run the UTI night as a way to showcase new artists. "Under The Influence" is a monthly night at The Boogaloo in North London, where new acts perform two of their own songs and one cover by the featured artist of the month.
