I am a single mother of 3. My two oldest have each completed one full year of college and I have accumulated student loan debt totaling over $60k. Part of that debt was from my old, unpaid loans from when I went to college. I will be dead before this debt is paid. The part that makes me upset the most is the force feeding of the Parent Plus Loans. Essentially, students MUST incur debt and their parents must incur MORE debt to help their children go to college. A never-ending cycle of debt. Generations forever indebted to the US government in order to afford higher education. I do not see how my boys will be able to afford their second years of college. I can't afford anymore loans. Sigh 2016-07-03T16:07:46Z
