You' Lit'! Part 2- A McFierce Meditation by TiffMcFierce published on 2018-07-04T04:26:11Z July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness month. Mental health does not equate crazy. Your mental health is everything from how you cope with stress from your work, to what you eat that has an affect on not only your body-but mind and spirit, to how often you get off these portals and find stillness from an overstimulated, forced world, and SO much more. There’s a FULL range of aspects of mental health that affect our EVERY DAY LIFE. The constant images, videos, and things we are pushed all affect our mental health all the time. This month, and every month there after, as people of color, minorities, humans- let’s make sure we take care of ourselves. And if you are someone that is dealing with depression, anxiety or anything else or even if you’re not sure if you are and you want to look into platforms and options-NEVER feel ashamed to do so! Period. Your mental health is beyond important and as I always say and live by, the most “lit” thing you could ever do is take care of yourself. Stay tuned for my wellness event this month, Look IN vs Lookin’ for another dope space of music, meditation and more coming later this month with some very special guests! Until then, my July Challenge for you all is to spend an ENTIRE HOUR A DAY away from your phone, computer, tv, etc. Connect with yourself, meditate, (there are a lot of guided ways to donao- stop saying you don’t know how-there’s no right or wrong in this btw); or connect with another human being. Or read a high vibrational book but no electronics! Let me know how it goes! Hashtag me at #McFierceMinorityMentalHealthMonth! Peace and light in this world to us all, it’s needed.
