str8 up ice cold watermelon
hey what's up people it's yunowadidis, you might have heard my music on bandcamp in 2012 or perhaps on soundcloud in 2013 and 2014... well guess what, we have some new 2018 music out on bandcamp or here... there's one normal yunowadidis type album called "folkstep legend" as well as a bunch of bootleg studio solos... and like yeah maybe you heard the first album "distance and motion" but did you even check out "space" from 2013? it was previously only on cd-r! okay here's the rest of my trashy bio as originally written!
prepended addendum. first of all, look at the infected mushroom album art for return to the sauce and compare it to the album artwork for yunowadidis.bandcamp.com/album/distance-and-motion/ then watch the jojo s01e01 from 2012/2013, and watch FLCL episode 7.
yep its true, since 2012 my music has been colossally influential, in secret... with references in random television adverts, other peoples music, new artists' monikers, gtaV orchestral synth soundtrack, shoutout to trebleafoot midway during a storm trooper battle as well as first line ????? in star wars rogue one, referred to by rjd2 "more is than isn't" reflecting the strange nature of the truth within songs like "descended from myth", killah priest "pineapple of the sun", mgmt "mystery disease", thievery corporation "more is than isnt", the flaming lips "first few songs in oczy mlody", numerous rock bands, seemingly an overwhelming majority of the good artists on soundcloud, even dinosaur jr's purple and green album art is a reference (but the album actually was legit not even musically related at all just like the title suggested), infected mushroom's sauce album's album art and musical content, lots of game soundtracks, demo productions such as "apocalypse when", fr-090, etc.
i'll just present this as a strange hypothesis... listen to my song czechuhwan a few times and just go on checking out music on soundcloud and youtube or the rest of the internet.. then you'll see how the short bluesy keyboard solo on the first song on my first album is variated upon by a variety of various artists both chronologically after and before its release.... if you're a high grade music listener then you already know that it's hella interesting when different artists have the same track title... and it's also a way cool occurence when you find the original song which was sampled... in this case, the original songs aren't sampled but the spirit of this is the same. this music was created un deliberately through a process of both sequencing it and sometimes playing it live into the program which i chose to use.. you might think the sound is unprofessional and amateurish... too quiet... or you might feel as though it expresses a fluent jam... the difference in perception of it depends on the listener's own understanding of what music really is... (are they patient enough and smart enough to turn up the stereo to listen to a quiet song for two minutes? can they recognize what is essentially normal and honest music after listening to unusually distinct and well made or unusually undistinct and well made music for so long?) whether it is the intervals in the bassline in lightrail, the pitchbends, that particular style of "turn" or "two note short interval ascending then larger interval descent then some other note" pattern included in czechuhwan, the distinctive and fast outros, or even the drum pattern from dubtrance, or of course the overall spacey tones owing to creative decisions made in normal synthesis and sequencing, using elements of my compositions is distinctively "dope" and "cool".. retelling and referring to a myth that has been cryptically woven into the 21st century music.. we are ourselves the mythical subjects of the history of our times
