KLF: Embrace The Contradictions by United States of Audio published on 2015-04-30T10:27:14Z 23 years ago the KLF announced they were leaving the music business. They deleted their back catalogue and burned £1m on a remote island in Scotland. This mixumentary tells their story; a strange and often chaotic tale traversing hip hop, gospel, trance, techno, ambient, house and pop amongst other things. It is my tribute to the band that produced the first single I ever bought, a tribute to a band that, despite becoming the largest selling singles act in the world, remain largely forgotten. "A very thorough and splendidly creative job" - Bill Drummond "Good work!" - Jimmy Cauty "Wildly enjoyable" - Mojo Magazine "I don’t think some of the tracks have stood the test of time well. With so many mixes to squeeze into the show, I can’t really justify using this" - Solid Steel Radio https://twitter.com/usofaudio Genre 23 Comment by KØZMIK KEBAB 📡 2023-11-01T00:23:21Z Comment by Depunkt Kapunkt alter Schwede... It is also great as a soundtrack to John Higgs’ book KLF: Chaos, Magic, and The Band Who Burned a Million Pounds). 2019-08-05T12:26:37Z Comment by Andy Falck Great stuff!! :) 2019-03-01T19:45:36Z Comment by EEE VILLE buxton 2018-08-31T21:19:40Z Comment by You Sound Great Mate Thank you - it all makes sense now 2017-09-06T14:22:59Z Comment by DJ TRAUMATIC CANON still a hilariously good drop 2017-09-01T23:27:09Z Comment by David Thomas Crawley memories of being 12 years old 2017-08-29T17:01:53Z Comment by David Thomas Crawley love this was the first record I ever bought LOVING IT 2017-08-29T16:56:14Z Comment by David Thomas Crawley excellent loving this 2017-08-29T16:12:36Z Comment by X- STATIC wow 2017-08-27T19:35:07Z Comment by brian jonestown massacre it's completely justified....time to shape shift 2017-07-24T17:30:22Z Comment by brian jonestown massacre oh shit... 2017-07-24T17:29:41Z Comment by brian jonestown massacre defend the jams to the death. 2017-07-22T22:20:06Z Comment by brian jonestown massacre stand by the jams. 2017-07-22T22:19:37Z Comment by andyleitch81 A whole lot of epicness right here.
