I have to agree with some of the other comments about the mix though. The way the levels are and the sound stage everything is very muffled almost like drums are right in the back, almost muted but bleeding through on a bus track. I think with everything brought forward in the mix and rebalanced to allow some space for the drums it would gel better. 2023-02-15T14:07:18Z Comment by Steve Pridgeon Some parts are reminiscent of Canon in D 2023-02-11T11:27:15Z Comment by Benjamin_D There's a lot of cool stuff going on here but I'm having trouble keeping it all together mentally; there's just a few too many different sounds and melodies for me to really remember any of them 2023-02-09T23:59:19Z Comment by Kyle Benjamin Interesting chord changes in here. 2023-02-09T23:52:51Z Comment by The Exponent Such a nice vibe, good job with the arrangement 2023-02-08T19:47:01Z Comment by SilverPants I like the tons of delay and shit going everywhere. maximalism. 2023-02-07T22:17:46Z Comment by Taronium Oh gee, this is a wee bit too random, but peppered in it are some brief and beautiful progressions. It makes me feel a slightly bit deranged. I've already wondered, if I had two versions of it running by accident, haha. Sleepless, OH, I get it, I think. Curious take on it for sure 2023-02-06T20:46:09Z Comment by mmghost this is kind of like a lo-fi synth wave track, pretty interesting sound almost like listening to something from the past 2023-02-06T17:48:59Z Comment by SilverPants A cute song. But the mastering is off. The very top end of freq sounds missing. Sounds like the song is in a cardboard box. 2023-02-06T16:01:32Z Comment by ElVicente Fun mix point of view like dreaming. Sometimes I'd prefer those pads to be silent. Cheerful track 2023-02-06T14:05:06Z Comment by Puma17 like the slowing down here. it introduces a new dimension 2023-02-05T11:01:33Z Comment by Nenneb Nice melody! 2023-02-04T19:56:16Z Comment by ELEX And there was me thinking the lo-fi sound of this track was deliberate. Was it ? Anyway, I thought the contrast between the wide washy stuff and mono melody/drums was interesting. It is an enjoyable track, imho. 2023-02-04T17:25:51Z Comment by The Sound Of Merlin Many musical ideas mixed together in one track. Maybe too many for my taste. I heard some nice harmonic changes here and there. I do agree with BrainBeat when it comes to the sound. Your monitors seem to lack low end and too much hi mids which results in the opposite in your master. 2023-02-03T08:22:37Z Comment by BrainBeat As Zipidowski said already apart from the kick the bass frequencies are lacking as are the top end sparkle too leaving your track sounding muffled as if being played on some cheap bad speakers. You may want to look at your melodies too as they at times got a bit messy to my ears. 2023-02-03T03:37:23Z Comment by Zipidowski I guess this song might have gained from more warmth of bass 2023-02-01T21:59:58Z
