Wine Dance by Anthony Petruccello published on 2021-12-06T13:07:28Z When I began writing this piece, I had a melodic and rhythmic idea. As the piece began to take form I reflected upon it and began to imagine a bacchanalia in a forest at night. I followed that image and the result was this piece, Wine Dance. I imagine in the beginning of the piece the members of the group slowly creeping out of the dark woods into an opening and beginning to dance slowly at first until the whole group gets going and they all are lost into a proper frenzy. -Anthony Petruccello Read by the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra Genre Classical
