A1 - Boris Divider - CollapsedCluster by M.U.S.A (Morocco Underground Still Alive) published on 2019-04-04T12:18:37Z There's a good bunch of intense, dark and extreme, grinding electro-techno gems on the "Raval Rave Breakers" first compilation. While Boris Divider's 'Collapsed Cluster' recalls of the more clinical approach of labels like Raster-Noton, Eel manages to deliver a fresh mix of styles on 'Sraight Edge', where Old Skool Breakbeat and EBM draw an unforgettable match made in heaven. Last track on the A side comes from Classicworks boss Neuhen, but is Patricia (Opal Tapes, Spectral Sound) who remixes it: in "Supress" we can find all the magic tricks of the NYC based producer: eery atmospheres, gently distorted drums and a warm feeling of cozyness. On the flip, RNXRX delivers "Aktion Intertia", one of the most psychedelic jams he's ever did: an industrial acid track as catchy as it can be. Oakland's "Heroine From The North" sounds a bit like when New Beat became faster and more agressive, being mixed with styles like EBM and trance.
