Vibration Lab have recorded and remixed Reggae greats like: Linval Thompson, Rod Taylor, Wayne Jarrett. Vibration Lab have been associated with Dubby "Reggae influenced" Bass music but they have recently done two remixes pressed to vinyl: Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution Feat. Sabrina Bell + Gallang / Parly B - Vibration Lab Remix) which signal a shift to a more "Digital" Reggae sound.
For their next project they have assembled a "super group" formed out of the "live" sessions on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem. At these dances the pair would select in a throw-back 80's style,in the fashion of "old-school"sounds like Youth Promotion in Jamaica, with teams of singers and mc's. Along with help of Reggae soundsystem veterans: Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel the pair went into the studio to re-create the energy and excitement of these dances and thus: Vibration Lab & The Digital Messiahs was born. The first single from this project will come out on the Vibration Lab label and is called: (Digital Messiahs Theme) feat:Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel. A full album of the project will be released this year!
