Virtual Street
San Cristóbal
Virtual Street emerges as a powerful fusion of Hardcore Punk and Thrash Metal, hailing from the vibrant underground scene of San Cristóbal, Venezuela. Founded in 2023 by former members of the renowned Thrash Metal band "Kraptor," the trio comprises Angel Moreno (formerly of Kraptor) on guitar, Phill Alvarez (also from Kraptor) on bass and lead vocals, and Jorge Cárdenas on drums.
Their journey began on October 28, 2023, at the Warped Fest I in Táchira, where they burst onto the Venezuelan music scene with their raw energy and relentless sound, quickly winning over the local audience. Building on this initial success, Virtual Street headlined a regional event in San Cristóbal in April 2024, solidifying their reputation as a formidable force in the country's music scene.
Currently, the band is in the process of producing their debut demo, titled "Wasted Time Terror," set to be unleashed upon the world in mid-May 2024. The themes explored in this debut release delve into social issues, personal experiences, flawed characters, regrettable decisions, and the inevitable passage of time, all infused with elements of cartoons, comedy, and science fiction.
Virtual Street's music resonates with its audience through its potent blend of Thrash Metal and Hardcore Punk, delivering a fresh and invigorating sonic assault. As a power trio, their live performances are nothing short of electrifying, captivating metalheads and music enthusiasts alike with their unbridled energy, aggressive stage presence, and unforgettable experience. Virtual Street is more than just a band; they are a testament to the raw power and enduring spirit of underground music.
