Transcript: Hi! Voisana here. Today, I have two tongue twisters that could help you improve your English pronunciation. I’ll say it once then we’ll be repeating them three times as exercise. Here’s the first one. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked Wow, that was a mouthful. Now, here’s the challenge. Remember, we’ll be repeating them three times. Are you ready? All right. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked (x3) Whoa, I can’t believe I survived that. What about you, were you able to follow along? Great. Now, let’s go to the second one. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck If a woodchuck could chuck wood? He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, And chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would If a woodchuck could chuck wood Okay, I think this one’s a little harder than the first one, but did you get it? All right, then let’s exercise. Are you ready? Let’s go. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck If a woodchuck could chuck wood? He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, And chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would If a woodchuck could chuck wood (x3) Golly, I almost messed that one up. No wonder it’s considered a tongue twister. Were you able to do it without slipping up? Awesome! Just keep repeating this exercise whenever you feel like giving yourself some pronunciation workout.
