"Concordant" String Quartet - Movement 2 by WalkingEars published on 2022-09-20T13:05:48Z Genre Classical Comment by Martin Max Schreiner, composer I like the way you set up the 3/4 meter and then began to tip it out of balance by interspersing some 2/4 measures at about 0:55 seconds. You chose to have this short episode straighten itself out into 3/4 meter for the rest of the movement. Did you consider making more of the musical metric conflict by transitioning to 2/4 or having a metric 'compromise' by maming 3/4 + 2/4 become 5/4 meter (like Tchaikowsky's 5/4 waltz in his 5th Symphony)? Just a thought. Nothing wrong with stablizing again in 3/4. I enjoyed hearing this! 2022-12-05T22:20:39Z Comment by Edward Cortes composer Delicious movement, excellent music. 2022-11-16T06:26:32Z Comment by idematoa Très beau mouvement ! 2022-09-27T13:27:44Z Comment by Wally Bartfay Music Lovely composition and arrangement.
