WalkingForWeightLoss Stevenage My weight loss journey began at the age of 11 when I was taken to Weight Watchers by my mother. I was due to attend a big family party and the message I got at that tender age was that I wasn’t good enough as I was. I lost 17lbs but immediately put it back on as soon as I had completed the course. I was put on the Scarsdale diet, was taken to a dietician, a hypnotherapist and was forced to have packed lunch at school in order that my mother could oversee my eating. And this was all before I was 17. This pattern continued into my 20’s and I still believed I wasn’t good enough. I kept trying the latest fad diets but the weight always went back on. The penny dropped for me in my 40s when I was told I was a compulsive eater. I kept on thinking that someone could fix me instead of believing that I could fix myself by taking control. So that’s exactly what I did. I signed up to do the Playtex Moonwalk at size 26 and started walking. In conjunction with the walking, I also changed the way I ate, the way I perceived food and the way I felt about myself. The size 12 person you see today is a direct result of my commitment to me. If you’re ready to make a commitment to you, do get in touch as I know I can help. It’s not an easy journey and you don’t need to make it on your own. You will need to commit to making changes but I will be with you every step of the way. Find out more at www.walkingforweightloss.co.uk.
