So, we checked it out! The preserve features 1 mile of hiking trail, a portion of which is wheelchair accessible. There is a boardwalk and also rough trails through the shrubby areas. Restrooms are located at Headlands Beach State Park to the west of the preserve. Headlands Beach State Park also has a wheelchair accessible path.
