Francesco Tristano & Psycatron - Caspar (Panoramic Shuffle Remix) by Soundspace published on 2014-06-11T19:11:39Z Soundspace: @wearesoundspace www.wearesoundspace.com facebook.com/soundspace-promotion twitter.com/wearesoundspace youtube.com/soundspacepromo 'Detroit-inspired', a term thrown about to the point of boredom at this stage, and more often than not the 'inspiration' amounts to little more than a nod to a 'Reese' bass-line or a classic preset stab. On this occasion however, Inflyte present three artists who discovered each other's music through their own independent links to Motor City via a mutual friend and fan in the form of Carl Craig and Planet E Communications. It was this link that brought Barcelona-based Tristano to the less-than-sunny climes of Belfast to the Psycatron HQ, for a two-day recording jam that was as productive as it was inspiring. 'Caspar' is the first single to be taken from these sessions. Welcome into the mix, fellow Planet E artist Vince Watson who follows up Psycatron's massive 2011 remix of 'Pressure' on his own Bio imprint with a classic VW treatment that has end-of-night written all over it and took the roof off Psycatron's room 2 set at Fabric last year. Rounding things off, Panoramic Shuffle take things on a slightly housier path, with looped up keys and disjointed Moog solos leading the way.
