Deconstructing Beethoven by WhateverTheMajorityDecide published on 2014-07-03T10:19:35Z WTMD's take on the final movement of Beethoven's ninth symphony. This started as an experiment. Martin recorded a loop and asked the other members of WTMD to record something to that loop. It could be based on Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" but it didn't have to. Afterwards, all pieces were puzzled together to one epic soundscape. This features: Northumbrian Pipes, Irish Whistle and other stuff by Jeff McCarthy, basses and synths by Guy Beeri Mauseth, flute by Karen Beeri, keys and synths by Colin Powell, heavy guitar by Evangelos Koudonas and guitar, synths and programming by Martin Neuhold. Also, some public domain samples of the original from musopen.org. Don't worry, no classical trained musicians were harmed while recording this.
