In Sight Of Spring - Instrumental by Wheelwright published on 2023-02-19T21:57:16Z Began as an exercise but I think it's worked out reasonably OK (represents progress for me anyway). It's quite long (sorry) - I tried to shorten it but couldn't really. Also tagging as classical may be pushing it a bit but is probably closest - or maybe should be soundtrack? Don't know. Many thanks to Jonathan Beckenstein for his encouragement with this track. ______________________________________________________________ Produced arranged composed & mixed (inexpertly) by Wheelwright in bedroom. ______________________________________________________________ Original image (detail) Kristine Cinate https://unsplash.com/@kristine_cinate Genre Classical Comment by ~Mark F Very nice piece. 2023-08-16T01:51:42Z Comment by BRIXTON ROAD this work brings peace of mind 2023-07-05T06:51:20Z Comment by cgmaness Brilliant! 2023-06-06T17:07:57Z Comment by Peter Grimbeek Slow and steady progression here through the hallways of sound. 2023-04-18T13:52:06Z Comment by Peter Grimbeek Sounds like a mixture of choral and other sounds (hard to guess which). 2023-04-18T13:51:44Z Comment by Peter Grimbeek Lovely sweeping sounds 2023-04-18T13:50:57Z Comment by Just Very refreshing composition!...Such an uplifting piece 👏🤗 2023-04-09T12:29:17Z Comment by Patros15 Pretty nice work 2023-04-02T16:49:39Z Comment by Pamela Illanes-Tatsuoka Composer Fantastic composition! 2023-04-01T17:25:06Z Comment by bart mastin Lovely! 2023-03-25T22:57:26Z Comment by conover I think this stance. Very enjoyable 2023-02-24T02:26:04Z Comment by Mountain Songs What delicious prospects this conjures inside me, Michael. Certainly don't think the 'Classical' tag is pushing it at all. Let's call it a draw and tag it 'bloody gorgeous'... 2023-02-23T16:35:55Z Comment by tbone711 Igor’s got nothing in you. A lovely departure for you, lush and sumptuous orchestration! Putting me in a hopeful state as we are in the midst of a massive winter storm here in Minneapolis! 2023-02-23T12:23:27Z Comment by Monotronaut I can’t shake this visual I’m getting from this piece of timelapse video of flowers blooming. Wonderful evocative scoring work, sir! 2023-02-22T16:14:26Z Comment by markjbennett Such an uplifting piece Michael, you've transported me into the realms of a burgeoning springtime. I can feel the soil actively warm up during its scant 5 minutes. I'm so glad I caught this. Classical/Choral tag works for me. This is music to be cherished and savoured, even or especially as it was birthed in a bedroom. 2023-02-21T14:06:26Z Comment by Jonathan Beckenstein This so well evokes my own experience of that moment when winter turns to spring. The Golden Moment has not yet happened for me, but it is coming and I thank you for the reminder. Excellent orchestration here, so well painted. And it strikes me that the title could be a pun or a rhyme for The Rite of Spring. That is apt given various elements of this music. 2023-02-20T19:23:40Z
