Dawn at Lumholtz Lodge, Atherton Tablelands, Australia by Wild Ambience published on 2013-11-18T04:43:44Z I placed the microphones a few metres from a small stream in upland rainforest and left them to capture the dawn chorus. You can hear the raucous calls of Orange-footed Scrubfowl (one of Australia's three species of megapode or mound-builder) as well as the unusual wails of Spotted Catbird. Occasionally Northern Barred Frogs (Mixophyes schevilli)call from the leaf litter. Genre nature Comment by Food For Sparrows This is amazingly peaceful. 2019-03-22T07:16:23Z Comment by uhbiv what a dense and lively place to record at ! 2017-07-03T19:11:19Z Comment by platy I love your work. 2017-01-27T00:09:21Z Comment by Sounds Of Wilderness I love your recordings..you have incredible effect with your gear:) 2014-06-03T14:34:00Z Comment by Arthur C.
