Dusk - Empress Cicadas & White-rumped Shama - Recorded in Borneo's rainforest by Wild Ambience published on 2013-06-16T13:01:09Z Kubah's forests are pulsing with life, and the soundscapes that can be heard in this national Park are among the most incredible I have ever experienced. This recording features the incredibly powerful sounds of Empress cicadas, along with the melodic song of the White-rumped Shama, and the rhythmic ' te-hoop 'calls of Golden-whiskered Barbets. This sample is an excerpt of the track "Dusk Rhythms" from the album Rhythm of Kubah - https://wildambience.com/albums/rhythm-of-kubah/ Genre Nature Sounds Comment by ΩMAIRA Devine! 2021-11-16T10:13:39Z Comment by M.A.N.I.L.A. fantastic 2021-09-29T15:17:29Z Comment by Denon ❤️🤗 2020-07-08T04:32:57Z Comment by geck's time my god this is pure LOVE! 2020-06-15T18:33:23Z Comment by Dennis Perov This is why we spend money on audio gear. You've really captured the forests natural reflections beautifully. 2016-06-27T13:49:52Z Comment by Gus Taylor Absolutely stunning. Seems to work really well on a range of speakers including inbuilt small mobile phone speakers. I've always thought that the natural sounds from Borneo and the Malay peninsula are particularly unique, musical and mysterious with the cicadas being especially fantastic. I thought I was biased because I was born in malaysia and lived for the first four years of my life in Malaysia and Singapore, so it's good to know this opinion is shared by others, especially since most popular notions of the tropical rain forest focus so much on Amazonia. 2016-01-01T08:49:08Z Comment by Clancy Wildlife Amazing work Marc.
