A Common Raven landed in a tree above me just as I began to try to record a woodpecker (not included in this section). This is from the first 4 minutes. If you only have time for some of this recording, skip to the "KNOCKING" calls that start at 2 minutes into the recording! These are calls apparently only made by dominant females. AMAZING! This was recorded at the Yuba Pass in the Tahoe National Forest in California. Recorded June 10, 2013 with a Fostex FR-2 and Senneheiser ME 66. Edited in Audacity.
