Shingo Suwa Shingo Suwa Berlin Shingo Suwa Acid Camp / Merkur Schallplatten / House Mannequin Shingo Suwa is a Japanese-born DJ and producer currently based between Berlin and Poland. Rooted in a musical family, his early influences range from jazz to the golden era of late '80s hip-hop. In the '90s, he embraced electronic music through the sounds of Chicago House and Detroit Techno during Japan's vibrant club scene. Known for his wide-ranging and expressive DJ sets, he has performed regularly at iconic Berlin clubs such as Tresor and about_blank. Having released over 15 vinyl EPs on his own labels, Merkur Schallplatten and House Mannequin (with Akirahawks), he continues to expand globally. His upcoming EP on Acid Camp Records features collaborations with Clay Wilson (The Bunker NY) and groove master Jasen Loveland (Interdimensional Transmissions).
