Basically I created a tape loop on the Fostex R8, recorded a fragmented drum part to the loop for some sort of rhythmic backing, then proceeded to come up with some sort of broad chord of synth pads, from there I overdubbed individual hits of the chord to their own channels of tape, and then played the loop back and mixed things in and out with delays and reverb and played the hits (which harmonically "jive" with each other) to make a progressing little piece of music, that goes wherever I want to take it through mixing. This was recorded and mixed on my old / first setup, A Phonic MR3243 mixing desk and Behringer stomp box reverbs and delays, still sounds cool, though. Genre Abstract Weirdness
