Immigration is a controversial topic in the United States. While many disagree with it for various reasons, the truth is that immigration is a tough choice citizens from foreign countries have to make in pursuit of safety and opportunity. I was one of those people, a Venezuelan girl who had to leave everything she knew in search of the American Dream. Here, I share my story and experience moving to the United States.
