‘Piss off the neighbour’ is a dedication to the ghostly silhouettes of ourselves. Silhouettes of our past, present, and future versions; they appear in the elevator, on the stairs at home, in the garden, in domestic spaces as if they were neighbors. They only show up when one needs to make an important decision: facing different versions of oneself and wondering how they would behave today seems inevitable.
Would the younger and more fragile ones, more impulsive and assertive, be disappointed in who we are today or just very angry? Are the future, blurry ones solid and powerful or scared and lost?
‘Piss off the neighbour’ wraps up the fear of what we’ll become and how we’ll age with a mature and optimistic film that whispers "it seems like everything will turn out for the best" and this makes those who wished us ill, those who doubted us, and those who feel lonely and insecure angry, whether it's the past version of ourselves or an unfriendly neighbour.
The alt pop/rock soundscapes create a full and defined atmosphere, sliced through by the Mellotron's ethereal and dreamy sounds. Airy and raw guitars, bass synth, and roomy acoustic drums intertwine and, along with the sweet but biting voice, lead the listener into a fairy trap. The vocals and lyrics vibrate in sync, shifting from intimate moments to provocative and playful ones. The background vocals elevate the sound to another plane, as if an alter ego is constantly poised to add its perspective.

Seems a little quiet over here
