i wrote this song when i was 19 going through a depressed phase, questioning my worth and the point to existence; from dreams to love, to the prospect of leaving a legacy behind - it all seemed empty as an whole for i would cease to live one day and naught would matter then - this song portrays the nihilistic feelings and thoughts i went through back then, as well as it served to process and move forward from it.
