Special shout out to Thunder & Joy for the recommendation here. I remember Chris Duckenfield getting booked by the Ward 10 lasts in Sunderland in the early 00's and after going onto hear a few more of his mixes it was clear he was a heavyweight that lurked firmly in the underground but resonated certainly across the UK and Europe.
