Genre Hip-hop & Rap Comment by BP of [Capsule Corps] This is a Bryson Tiller x SWV track I made for the summer. This track got some West Coast to it, something you could ride to. I originally wasn’t even going for that sound but shit just lead me in that direction. It’s pretty simplistic as far as production goes but that was very much intended. The sample is addictive and I felt like it didn’t need too much done to it. I’ve been holding on to this sample for some time now and I randomly felt possessed to actually do something with it. SWV has been sampled and flipped in so many ways over the years so I’m just hoping I’m doing it justice. They have such an underrated sound. Vocals are from Just Another Interlude from Bryson Tiller’s Trapsoul album. That album has a lot of spins from me and comes with a lot of memories. It was one of the first albums that came to mind when looking for vocals. Me personally, I think Tiller is straight up walkin on this beat and it just feels right, almost as if this was the original instrumental. 2024-07-26T22:12:52Z
