We wanted to share these raw, unrefined gems to show the creation process and how the song “6B (RIPete)” came to life as we each individually mourned & processed the loss of someone very close to us. RIP Peter “Petey G” Gibson” & TY for the inspiration and beautiful gift that you left with us to finally complete ⚡️♾️⚡️. The recording process was truly unique in that we chose to capture sounds from vastly different places. There is something truly special in the raw, unrefined sounds of life which create an intimate atmosphere for the listener. Many of the special moments captured were unrehearsed; brought together seamlessly to create a beautiful fusion of sound and imagery. Ukulele on a dock by a lake with cicadas at night. Guitar in a small apartment with cars driving by and birds chirping. This collection shows how you can take anything no matter what state it may be in and turn it into something truly beautiful; a masterpiece.
