Hello again! Welcome back to our synodically recurring mix series 'Styles'; a mix series aimed at showcasing unique styles and subgenres nestled amongst the broad landscape of electronic dance music. Digging deep into the depths of electronic dance music, we find ourselves at the common denominator of "low and slow." With our sixth episode, we will be delving into the depths of the subgenre know as Leftfield 140, courtesy of G.R.A. resident DJ, Symtek.

"Leftfield 140 is a style that refers quite literally to it's own name. In essence, it is a style of music that resides at 140 BPM, but strays from the more typical dubstep style that has dominated the tempo for the last 2 decades. With a contemporary rebirth in the early 2020's, Leftfield 140 tends to include a wide variety of influences from across the musical spectrum. ["Over the last few years, 140 has become a broad term that represents more than just dubstep. It stands for an entire culture of bass music influenced by dubstep, grime, and trap.
