When I lost %50 of my hearing in a near fatal overdose at 18, I promised God that if I survive I will learn how to write and make music. I am thirty now, and watching a beautiful life unfold before me. I am clean, write and produce quality music, work as a hospice nurse and have a beautiful and loving wife. I love music and I love life. I wrote this song as a celebration of all that God has done for, with, and through me. I want to do big things with my music, find better care for my autistic nephew, Bryson, and reach young and creative artists who may struggle to make their way in this world; If they hang on, there IS LIGHT AND LOVE IN THIS LIFE.
