Cellist Rebecca Foon (Esmerine, Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Set Fire To Flames) is joined by her sister, award-winning violinist Aliayta Foon-Dancoes, for a meditative album of string duos, accented by piano from both players. Minimal, discreetly melodic thematic variations in an immersive suite of post-classical chamber music: a soundtrack for a movie never made, and unction for our increasingly tragic times. Co-produced by Jace Lasek (The Besnard Lakes, Godspeed You! Black Emperor).
