Join the 2021–2022 Meadows Museum Student Collective for Behind the Scenes of the Meadows Museum: The Secret of the Lady” a podcast that explores the story of the museum’s 1621 painting “Portrait of a Lady” by Bartolomé González y Serrano, from being made to being displayed.

In Episode 4, Sydney Fitzgibbon and Darby Linn speak to Amanda Dotseth, curator at the Meadows Museum at SMU. We’ll learn about how artworks like “Portrait of a Lady” are acquired by the museum and how Dr. Dotseth thinks research into this mysterious lady’s identity could be conducted.
