"Respirar" - To breath in Spanish, is part of a series, an ongoing collaboration with the composer Gil Dori, a long-lasting co-experimenting with the saxophone's sonority, specifically generating "spectral fields" by mechanical sound manipulation, and with substantial use of live electronics - for storing, repeating, and new sounds generator through spectral analysis. This is the Piece's first iteration, in which the live electronics are pre-mapped in an Ableton live session. Hence the player has to play with a click, so samplings are synced correctly.
